SPAM senders "harvest" e-mail addresses by using programs, referred to as "bots," which scan every Internet page they can locate and record any e- mail addresses they find. Because my e-mail address has been posted as the contact address on several websites over a number of years, my e-mail account is hit by approximately 1,000 SPAM e-mails EVERY DAY. We don't want this to happen to our board members, so we prefix the real e-mail addresses with TRA- so the "bots" will not record the correct address. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but the SPAM industry makes it necessary. -- Mike Roe
